Alvolta Smart Solarcase 180W:
The Alvolta rigid solar case comes with a Victron SmartSolar 75/15 solar regulator with built in Bluetooth monitoring. The Alvolta 180 watt portable folding solar kit is the ideal power source for camping, caravanning, boating and all recreation activities where power is not available. It is ideal for providing 12 volt power for lights, radios, small TV's, pumps, and even a camping fridge.
The kit comes completely pre-assembled and wired, ready to connect to your battery. The sturdy, adjustable legs allow you to tilt the module at the optimum angle, while the modules have corner protection and the moulded padded carry bag adds more protection to prevent damage as you move the module around.
The Victron SmartSolar regulator is already pre-wired on the kit and also features the MPPT wire box. There is 8 metres of 6mm2 cable with quick-disconnect provided by Genuine Anderson connectors, and heavy duty battery clamps.
Victron SmartSolar 75/15 MPPT:
A solar charger gathers energy from your solar panels, and stores it in your batteries. Using the latest, fastest technology, SmartSolar maximises this energy-harvest, driving it intelligently to achieve full charge in the shortest possible time. SmartSolar maintains battery health, extending its life.
The SmartSolar charge controller will even recharge a severely depleted battery. It can operate with a battery voltage as low as 0 Volts, provided the cells are not permanently sulphated or otherwise damaged.
By constantly monitoring the voltage and current output of your solar (PV) panels, MPPT technology ensures that every drop of available power is rinsed out of your panels, and harvested for storage. The advantage of this is most noticeable when the sky is partially clouded, and light intensity is constantly changing.
