Alvolta ETFE solar blanket:
The largest of the Alvolta solar blankets, this 180 Watt panel can produce upwards of 11 Amps per hour in ideal conditions, producing ample power to charge your 4WD, camper trailer or caravan batteries whilst away from conventional power. The Alvolta semi flexible, blanket style solar kits feature efficiency up to 20.4%. They are made out of an ETFE polymer material package and are scratch-resistant. They are light weight compared to rigid portable kits and also fold away to a much more compact size.
ETFE (Ethylene-Tetra-Fluoro-Ethylene) is a high-strength fluorine polymer that is corrosion and stain resistant, non-stick self cleaning, and retains its clarity (and therefore light transmittance) ensuring long service life for solar panels. ETFE film is extremly durable and structurally resistant. It will not discolour or degrade from exposure to environmental pollution, UV light, harsh chemicals or extreme temperature variations. Not only is ETFE a durable and UV-friendly material, but is also intelligent thanks to the chemical properties of its molecules, ETFE maintains its transparency for its whole life cycle, which in optimal conditions can reach over 20 years.
