Terminal studs are used to connect and distribute electrical power between multiple cables or circuits in a DC system. They provide a safe and reliable mounting point for cable lugs, making them essential for battery banks, distribution panels, inverters, and fuse systems in 12V, 24V, and 48V applications.

Terminal studs are available in various thread sizes (e.g. M6, M8, M10) and current ratings, depending on your system requirements. They can be mounted on insulated bases (for isolated connections) or common busbars (for shared connections). Choose a size and rating that match your cable lugs and current load.

Insulated terminal studs are mounted on non-conductive bases, keeping them isolated from the mounting surface which is ideal for positive and negative power distribution points. Non-insulated studs, on the other hand, are used when the connection point is intentionally bonded to the chassis or grounding surface.
