We assisted a couple in achieving their off-grid energy goals for their tiny home located in Cedar Creek, Queensland. With the cost of grid connection too expensive, the couple opted for a DC-coupled solar and battery system to power their tiny home, including running temperature control, the hot water system, lighting, and all other electrical appliances.
The 3.4kW solar array and 16kWh of battery storage are more than capable of providing all the power the couple needs.

This Somerset Dam cattle ranch required reliable off-grid power for both the family home and the shed. Since the project was a new build, Springers worked closely with the homeowner and builder to determine the energy needs and optimal layout of the system to achieve significant solar production.
This AC-coupled system is capable of producing 25-30kWh of energy daily and has 30.8kWh of battery storage capacity. The system is scalable should the homeowner's usage increase in the future.
