Yes, the SolarEdge Energy Hub series is a hybrid inverter which is designed to connect with solar batteries. These inverters work with SolarEdge’s Home Battery, Tesla Powerwall and other battery storage units.
Sungrow’s standard inverters, the HD-Wave series, are not hybrid inverters. This means that they do not support battery storage, and they will shut down for safety during a blackout.
