Where to use it

The Alvolta Aero 12V 25A Bluetooth AC Charger is built to turn mains or generator power into a steady, 6-stage charge for your battery, whether you're hooked up at a powered site or topping up in the driveway before a trip. Compatible with 12V systems and delivering up to 25A from a 180 - 265V AC input, it suits caravans, camper trailers, motorhomes, campervans and 4WD dual-battery setups, as well as boats and marine setups on shore power. Its storage charging mode also keeps your battery maintained between trips.

Its hard plastic housing and IP65 rating mean it's built to handle dust and moisture, so it mounts easily in a battery box, boot, rear compartment or boat locker. It works with lithium and lead-acid batteries, and built-in Bluetooth lets you check charging status, switch battery types and adjust settings through the Alvolta app. Rated to operate from -35°C to +65°C, it's built for the full range of Australian conditions, with lithium under-temperature protection that pauses charging below 0°C. It's backed by a 3-year warranty.

The charger supports Lithium (LI), Sealed Lead-Acid (SLD), Gel (GEL), Flooded Lead-Acid (FLD), and Customised (User) battery profiles. You can switch profiles directly on the charger by short-pressing the physical SET button to cycle through the battery type LED indicators, or wirelessly via the Alvolta app using the built-in Bluetooth 4.0 module.

Yes. The charger is built with a heavy-duty enclosure rated to IP65, providing total protection against dust ingress and resistance to low-pressure water jets. It operates within ambient temperatures ranging from -35°C to +65°C, making it suitable for mounting in caravans, camper trailers, marine vessels, and outdoor battery boxes.

Yes, the Alvolta Aero includes dedicated Lithium Battery Activation to reset tripped Battery Management Systems (BMS) and recover deeply discharged lithium cells. It also features built-in under-temperature charging protection for lithium batteries (enabled by default at -35°C) to prevent charging when ambient cold could damage the cells.

The charger features an efficient 6-stage charging algorithm backed by hardware protection against reverse polarity, over-current, battery over-voltage, and short circuits. If internal unit temperature exceeds 82°C, the charger automatically halts output, automatically resuming operations once it cools below 70°C. Fault states are indicated on-device by blinking LED indicator patterns or detailed error diagnostics in the Alvolta app.

AC Input: Connects to standard 180–265V AC mains power at 45–65Hz.
