It lets you safely connect, disconnect, or isolate your battery from your system, helping prevent battery drain and protecting your electrical setup.

They're commonly used in 4WDs, caravans, boats, and off-grid setups to control power between starter and auxiliary batteries or to isolate batteries when not in use.

Yes. Many Alvolta switches can manage single or dual-battery systems, letting you switch between battery banks or run them in parallel.

Yes. They're designed for simple mounting and straightforward wiring, making them suitable for DIY users or professional installers.

Absolutely. Alvolta battery switches are built tough with marine-grade materials, resistant to water, dust, and vibration.

A simple on/off switch is usually all you need to isolate or protect a single battery bank.

You'll likely need a dual-battery switch, which lets you isolate each battery bank, run them together, or select between them.

Look for a switch that matches your system design - such as house vs starter isolation, or one that allows emergency crossover.

Start with the number of batteries in your system, then choose the switch type that best suits how you want to manage them.
