VE.Direct TX Digital Output Cable

The cable is designed for lighting applications in solar energy systems. Energy consumption can be significantly reduced by the ability to dim lighting when needed. Lower power consumption will reduce the overall system cost. Also, the availability of lighting will increase, even in the case of a partially charged battery in low sun. The cable connects the TX output of the VE.Direct connector of an MPPT charger with the PWM dimmer input of the LED driver.

Virtual load output:

The cable is designed for adding load output functionality to the larger MPPT chargers (MPPT 100/30 and larger) that do not have a load output. The cable connects the TX output of the VE.Direct connector of an MPPT charger with battery protect or a solid state relay to switch a load on or off.
