The 285-Series Thermal Circuit Breaker is a direct drop-in replacement for the established 185-Series Thermal Circuit Breaker. The 285-Series breaker is available in panel mount and surface mount configuration, and can also be mounted in the 360 Panel System module or with one of two optional bezels. Bussmann offers the 285-Series Thermal Circuit Breaker as a drop-in replacement at lower cost.
