Where to use it

Designed for situations where you need to reliably charge an auxiliary battery from your vehicle's alternator while driving.

Ideal for use in 4WD and touring setups, caravans and camper trailers, marine applications, RV and motorhomes, and dual-battery systems.

How to use it

Install the Victron Orion XS 12/12-70 DC-DC Battery Charger between your vehicle's starter and auxiliary battery. Connect the input side to your starter battery or alternator and the output side to your auxiliary battery.

Use the built-in Bluetooth and VictronConnect app to select the charging profile for your battery (AGM, gel, flooded, or lithium).

Once installed, the charger automatically supplies up to 70A of regulated charge to your auxiliary battery whenever your vehicle is running. 

View real-time charging data and battery status with the VictronConnect app. Adjust settings as needed. 

With your auxiliary battery topped up while you drive, you'll have plenty of power for fridges, lights, pumps, and other gear when you stop.
