The Phoenix Inverter Compact is a pure sine wave inverter with a high efficiency. It is developed for professional duty and is suitable for a wide range of applications. The Phoenix Inverters Compact is available from 1200VA up to 2000VA in 12V or 24V.

Inverters convert stored direct current (DC) power in your batteries into alternating power (AC) power, like the kind you get in your home, so you can run your electrical appliances wherever you are. There are two types of inverters pure sine wave and modified sine wave. Modified sine wave inverters are a more basic form of technology than pure sine wave inverters, they produce power which is perfectly adequate for powering simple electronics. Use modified sine wave inverters to provide power for your less sensitive appliances like phone chargers, heaters and air conditioners. Modified inverters are best suited for resistive loads which don't have a start-up surge.

Pure sine wave inverters use more sophisticated technology to protect even the most sensitive electronics. Pure sine wave inverters produce power which equals – or is better than – the power in your home. Appliances which may not function properly, or which may be permanently damaged, without pure, smooth power will be safe with pure sine inverters. Use these inverters for televisions, laptops, digital microwaves, fridges and other sensitive electronic equipment. Pure Sine inverters can power just about any AC appliance without risk of damage.

SinusMax - Superior Engineering:

Extra Start-up Power:

A unique feature of the SinusMax technology is very high start-up power. Conventional high-frequency technology does not offer such extreme performance. Phoenix Inverters, however, are well suited to power up difficult loads such as refrigeration compressors, electric motors and similar appliances.

Virtually Unlimited Power - Parallel & 3-Phase Capability:

Up to 6 inverter units can operate in parallel to achieve higher power output. Six 24/5000 units, for example, will provide 24kW / 30kVA output power. Operation in a 3-phase configuration is also possible.

Automatic Transfer Switch:

If an automatic transfer switch is required it is recommended to use the MultiPlus inverter/charger instead. The switch is included in these products and the charger function of the MultiPlus can be disabled. Computers and other electronic equipment will continue to operate without disruption because the MultiPlus features a very short switchover time (less than 20 milliseconds).

Computer Interface:

All models have an RS-485 port. All you need to connect to your PC is our MK3-USB VE.Bus to USB interface. Together with the VE Configure software, which can be downloaded free of charge from the Victron website, all parameters of the inverters can be customised. This includes output voltage and frequency, over and under voltage settings and programming the relay. This relay can for example be used to signal several alarm conditions or to start a generator. The inverters can also be connected to VE Net, the new power control network of Victron Energy, or to other computerized monitoring and control systems.
