EN3DC40+ Manual circuit breaker kit:
One of the most common failures with dual battery installations is a failure of the fuse/holder. Poor quality fuse holders often don’t make adequate contact with the fuse which can allow dirt and dust to get in between the contact points. This causes excess heat to be generated due to the high resistance. This excess heat can be enough to melt the fuse and the holder. Even if the fuse holder doesn’t melt, you could be losing valuable charge to heat dissipation. As a result this could cause no charge to your auxiliary battery. This situation is usually diagnosed as a blown fuse however it is more likely attributed to a poor quality fuse holder.
Our circuit breaker kits use only the best quality manual or auto reset circuit breakers designed to fit the cable required for the specified current. We also have fuse kits available in AMI / MIDI fuses.
Featuring trip indicator and manual trip button, these circuit breakers are easy to reset just by pushing the tab back in. They offer lower voltage drop than a fuse and can be used as an occasional isolation switch.
Kit Includes:
- 1x 70A Manual reset circuit breaker (input side)
- 1x 60A Manual reset circuit breaker (output side)
- 4x 16-6 copper crimp lugs (suits up to 16mm2 cable / 6mm stud)
The EN3DC40+ circuit breaker kit is suitable for:
- Enerdrive EN3DC40+ DC-DC charger
